I love it when kids get to play a major role in stories and events that seem like they should be handled by adults. The Goonies and Super 8 both come to mind. Even though we didn’t want to focus on Randall as the only hero of this story, we did want him to have a major role. It’s amazing how much kids can surprise us in difficult situations!
Hey monster crew,
We’re going through a bit of maintenance here on the site. In the past, we used ComicPress to show off Morris’ amazing work, but we’ve seemed to hit a bit of snag with the inner workings of the site. I’m in the process of reloading all of the files to make sure that the comic is readable, and then we will go back to playing around with the overall design so that we can be up to speed.
Ryan and I have been chatting about issue 2 lately, and he’s even started showing me some fantastic art that will end up in the book. I hope to have more updates soon!
